I’m Kristen Quillin—founder of K-ROQ Communications and a Seattle-based comms strategist with global roots. For 20+ years, I’ve helped organizations communicate with clarity, especially during moments of change, growth, and transformation.

I’ve led marketing and communications across North America, EMEA, and APAC for global tech companies and professional services firms. From Microsoft to high-growth startups, I’ve built internal comms functions, launched strategies, and shaped executive messaging that sticks.

 

Now, I combine that experience with the power of AI to help clients work smarter. As a certified Generative AI Practitioner, I streamline content workflows and automate marketing operations—so teams can scale faster without sacrificing quality.

I led executive communications and go-to-market strategy for TeKnowledge and YNV Group, amplifying leadership visibility and unifying global messaging. I directed major events, including customer forums and leadership summits, and developed product marketing for AI-First Customer Experience, Microsoft Copilot adoption, and Tech Managed Services. I also implemented an AI-powered enablement platform that equipped global teams with the tools and content to drive consistent, accelerated execution.

I led executive and employee communications for a newly formed 14,000-person global organization, uniting teams around Microsoft’s Connected Customer Experience vision through strategic storytelling and multi-channel campaigns. Partnering across HR, Product, Engineering, and Marketing, I strengthened engagement, trust, and alignment during transformation.

I led change communications and narrative strategy for a global transformation impacting more than 30,000 employees. I directed the rollout of Microsoft’s Customer Experience Framework, translating strategy into frontline behaviors and improving alignment and customer outcomes. I also developed the company’s first field communications strategy and partnered with PR and Legal on crisis response during major data incidents and COVID-19 disruptions.

At Colliers, I led global and regional marketing and communications across Australia, the UK, and the U.S., including serving as Vice President of Global Marketing. I unified 50+ brand strategies into a single global identity and led executive communications for the CEO—driving alignment and accelerating growth worldwide. Earlier in my tenure, I repositioned the brand across Asia Pacific and EMEA, launched a multilingual website to boost lead generation, and elevated Colliers’ industry ranking across key markets.
